Why you’ll love it

There’s a lovely story behind this scent. Co-Founder and Product Inventor Rowena Bird brought in an old English rose called Evelyn in remembrance of her grandmother. The freshly cut rose was used by our Lush Spa team to create the fragrance for The Comforter? serum. Thanks to the creative know-how of Product Inventor Gary, you can now enjoy a piece of that comforting spa scent at home in this beautifully light lotion.

Not a typo—squalane (not squalene) closely resembles the sebum our skin naturally produces, allowing it to absorb effortlessly and help keep skin feeling soft and balanced. Think of it as the overachiever of the family: it offers the same skin-loving properties as squalene, but with greater stability, meaning a longer shelf life.

Meanwhile, notes of peach and rose drift together to create a soft, dreamy fragrance, reminiscent of a slow summer afternoon in an English garden—lounging on the grass, perhaps with cakes and fresh fruit arriving on a tray. Wouldn’t that be nice?
